EXTREX GP: MAAG’s general purpose melt pumps. The GP is available in 9 sizes with melt rates ranging from 300 – 23,250 lbs./hr. throughput.
EXTREX HV: A high volume, lower pressure design of the GP utilizing wider Gear teeth to achieve more than 25% additional throughput. The GP is available in 4 sizes ranging from 1,270 – 5,500 lbs./hr throughput.
EXTREX HP: A high pressure, lower volume design of the GP utilizing narrower Gear teeth to achieve an increased discharge pressure of 40%. The GP is available in 7 sizes ranging from 360 – 8,600 lbs./hr. throughput.
EXTREX RB: The RB is designed for rubber applications and is equipped with design changes to accommodate rubber such as Shaft cooling and larger internal Gear clearances. The RB is available in 4 sizes with volumes of 400 to 2,150 lbs./hr. throughput.
EXTREX RV: The RV is a higher volume version of the RB series utilizing wider Gears which increase the throughput 50%. The RV is available in 4 sizes with volumes of 230 – 2,550 lbs./hr. throughput.
EXTREX RQ: The RQ is a Split-Housing version of the RB and RV which provides for easier and faster pump cleaning. The RQ is best suited to higher viscosity elastomers with minimum viscosities above 2,000, 000 cP and preferably 3,000, 000 cP or higher. The RB version is available in 5 sizes with volumes of 400 – 3,300 lbs./hr. throughput. The RV-Q version of the RV-Q version is available in 7 sizes ranging from 230 3,300 .lbs./hr. throughput.
