680 Series

The Value Leader in the 0 to 30 GPH Category. Ever since its introduction, the PULSA® 680 metering pump has been one of our most popular products. Its winning combination of metering precision, rugged construction and affordability makes it your best choice for hundreds of applications. Pulsafeeder® pioneered and perfected hydraulic diaphragm metering pumps. The PULSA 680® is a result of over 50 years of pump research, development and testing.

Key Features Operations:

  • A worm drive and eccentric translate the rotary motion of a worm shaft into reciprocating linear motion by a plunger. The plunger displacement (and pump flow rate) is manually controlled by a 0–100% micrometer adjustment mechanism accurate to ±1%.

  • The motion of the plunger is transferred through a special hydraulic liquid to a diaphragm which in turn displaces the process liquid.

  • A no-drift stroke lock mechanism maintains the accuracy of the stroke setting. Performance.

  • Flow capacities range from .13 GPH at 3000 PSIG to 32.6 GPH at 100 PSIG.

  • Field modification of piston size, stroking rates and heads are easily made.

  • A built-in make-up valve, bypass valve and bleeder valve, features normally found on more expensive pumps, keep the system hydraulically balanced for trouble-free operation.

  • Product contamination and leakage are eliminated by the hydraulically actuated balanced diaphragm design.

  • Long-term durability is achieved through the use of high quality materials in the drive train. The worm is of hardened and polished steel and the worm gear is made from Dynalloy® bronze.

  • The life of the pump is also extended by the use of needle bearings at high load points.

  • All internal moving parts are bathed in oil for continuous lubrication and virtually wear-less operation. Series® 680 HYDRACONE® Our most economical head for general application. Particularly suited for high lift conditions, high viscosities and low density slurries.
